On Monday the 3rd of September, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.
14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
4 foreigners were refused entry into LatviaAt the Silene and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 1 citizen of Ukraine and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Moldova were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreignersAt the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Kirgizstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Belgium, 1 - of German, 1 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Belarus.
