On Thursday the 6th of September, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 50 offenders at external borders and within the country.

34 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Latvia, one entered from London and one - from Dublin, who are on the police wanted list, were detected. The men, born in 1992 and 1975, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Vientuļi and the Terehova Border Control Points 1 citizen of Moldova and 2 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Zilupe, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 5 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Tajikistan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Ukraine and 2 - of Russia was not commenced, the other citizens were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of German.
