On Tuesday, September 10 State Border Guard officers detected 27 offenders at the external borders and within the country.
At the external border 14 offenders were detected, including:
• 2 foreigners were refused to entry Latvia
At Pāternieki Border Control Point one citizen of Russian Federation and one citizen of Republic of Belarus were refused to enter Latvia on the purpose of lack of valid visa or residence permit. Persons were returned to the country of departure.
• 4 overstayers were detected
At Terehova, Zilupe and "Riga" airport Border Control Points were detected 2 citizens of Uzbekistan, 1 citizen of Russia and 1 citizen of Mexico who overstayed the permitted stay (violation of days permitted in visa) on the territory of Schengen states. Persons were subjected to administrative processing.
Operating Immigration control inside the country 4 persons were detected who violated entry or residence regime: 2 Estonian, 1 Russian citizen and one citizen of Uzbekistan.
State Border Guard officers detected 9 persons who violated exploiting of vehicles and vessels: 4 Belarussian, 2 Latvian, 2 Ukrainian and 1 Russian citizen.
