On Thursday the 13th of September, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 31 offenders at external borders and within the country.
15 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
• 1 Ukrainian citizen with forged documents was detained
At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine, leaving the country by car and presented forged Ukrainian driving licence, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents. Criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents; security measures not related to deprivation of liberty were imposed against the man.
• Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners
At the Pāternieki, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia and 2 - of Belarus, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The offenders were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 citizens of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Estonia and 1- of Belarus.
