On Wednesday the 19th of September, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 41 offenders at external borders and within the country.
20 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
• 5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, and 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country as well as he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
• 1 Latvian citizen was refused exit from Latvia
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of a valid travel document, was detected. The woman was refused exit from the country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 10 persons - 8 citizens of Ukraine, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 2 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Israel.
