Events at the state border and within the country - September 27, 2019

On Friday the 27th of September, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 55 offenders at external borders and within the country.

17 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

At the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 23 persons - 21 citizens of Ukraine, 1 - of India and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Georgia, 1 - of France and 1 - of Estonia.
